I only say windows because Mac doesnt support alot of software.

Plus, I have no knowledge of Mac's computer files or even how they work. I know they have ProTools, and I'm envious :(

and they do have tons of programs you just have to buy special catalogs

Not "which computer is better based on your knowledge".

Plus, nothing is stopping anyone from voting.

The fact that you have to get "special" software from 'special mags" is annoying. All you have to do for windows is just download it...no special anything.

Yeah windows rocks first of all there are a couple programs on macs that are ok you need to buy them seperatly at purchace though and its harder to do more Entensive programs on macs Windows is also arranged better file wise!

Sorry i ment to type i have both of the comps there both good but i like windows better.

WINDOWS!! even though mac's rarely impress me i hate them along with the OS they have....but they are sturdy and my freind has an old mac and he tryied throwing sox and plastic bags in it and yet it still works with the stuff in it and as of today its still in the case...but ya windows are alot better with more software to choose from and games to play for it too.

Well I'm sure most of you know that I like Macs much more than Windows. If you would like to see what happens when me and Templar argue over computers and OS's look at this thread: Clicky! I personally think it boils down to personal preference. I started with many types of Windows computers and most of the OS's and as soon as my family got a mac I fell in love with it. Some people who started the same as me didnt like how the Mac's were different and went back to Windows. So before you start a flame war, just remember that everyone has their opinions and just because a computer is faster doesn't mean it's better.

[EDIT] Oh and before you Windows guys say this, all new macs come with the new Mighty Mouse it is way better than any mouse that will ever come with a windows PC and has more than ONE!!! button on it.

yes thats true and i suggest people take stock in intel soon because mac's will be using intel processors but im not sure when they will all i heard was that.

Actually Venom,
All of the new iMacs have the intel processors and they've even come out with 2 new notebooks with the intel chips in them as well. You should check out the apple website more often. Apple!!

That is my point exactly. Neither of the OS's is so much better than the other that people are freaking out just to get the superior one. It's all about what you want. You all can bitch and moan till the cows go home, but neither side will waiver in their faith in their particular favorite.
