until now I only have worked with Windows (form 95 till XP and also NT and 2000)
On some points I do not like windows that much, some details irritate me some times.... it is also the 'monopoly position' Microsoft has with windows, there are not much alternatives, OK, there is Apple / Mac and Linux for Operating Systems... The main reason why I am still using windows is because most programs and games are based on windows in the first place and yes I know there are special programs for mac and Linux as well, but you have to buy them, learn to work with them and stuff...
all in one, I only know Windows and it has his good an bad points, and I know nothing about the other ones so therefor I am not going to vote

until now I only The main reason why I am still using windows is because most programs and games are based on windows in the first place and yes I know there are special programs for mac and Linux as well, but you have to buy them, learn to work with them and stuff... The Apple program we use is FREE. Windows is not, but then again you didn't get windows for free either, it was added to the cost of your system. If you built your own machine, you likely paid full price. Nothing to learn from the Apple program, either. It is no harder than a game installation, as it does all the work for you. You just say "go". (That's the beauty of Apple) It's funny, because up until now EVERYONE has said "I prefer windows because it has more software." And now that the Mac has more software, those same people are stumbling looking for a new reason. On a side note, it's gratifying to see the Apple logo at the end of such movie credits as Star Wars III, King Kong and Lord of the Rings. You know why? Because the best editing software out there wasn't just made FOR Apple machines, it was made BY Apple.
