Oh that wasn't an overreaction. I'm just saying that the rcon pw was a closely guarded secret, and it won't be me, nor I'm sure any of the other trusty fellows who reveal it.
The way I always saw it was the pw wasn't mine to give out, therefore, even now that the server ceases to be, that pw belongs to Skel. It's his to reveal if he so chooses. I hope he doesn't. Long live the legend.
That was why it stayed a secret for so long... The magic of the pw was that it wasn't guessable. So things like "skelito" or "dog" would not have been remotely close.
Oh, and best SDTM player: Bar none: Hood. He won that title, hands down.

First, the password will not be revealed by anyone but Skelito. The password was such a sought after thing, it would almost be a crime to allow it to leak out now  Keeping it secret will make it all the more mysterious over time... For example, will we ever know who Skelito really was...doubt it, I have dealt very closely with him, and I still do not know a whole bunch about him. But that is what makes him mysterious and stuff of Halo legend. In my opinion, I have never seen a player fight as hard as Aftershock did the day he set the record. He was brilliant. To make the record harder to match, he did it in a very quick time of 4 hours and a bit! But strategically, Hood takes the crown. The toughest opposition I have encountered....stealthy, tactical and very good at making you think he is in another place, while he lines you up from a hidden spot and makes you really suffer.... |

Hey Sling...that's cool man...I understand where your coming from.
I don't think I realized how much you guys were dedicated to this until just now...I know that you guys ran the server and forum, but even when the server is closing down you are still keeping the Rcon a secret...that's dedication...true dedication and I respect that...I really do.
It really was fun while it lasted and I think that we need to give the Staff here a big round of applause for everything they did.

You guys i don't believe §kelito is even thinking about showing you guys a picture considering there are some people that still hate him, i don't of course. But remember what our parents tought us, don't show a picture of your self on the internet... lol But i am very interested in the famous rcon password... - =BV=~RAZR~ A number of my pictures are posted on this forum. And anyone wanting to come after me will have some fun hehehe. ... what was the password for your server Skelito? I am intrigued...
Were you one of the many trying to guess the pw Sam?I thought about it but I never tried it in his server. |

As soon as I come back I read about the server and the forum closing...........
Well I have to say that it was a great job what you guys did anyway with the server and the way you handled the forum.
And just to say I was gone for a long time because of these damned college essays plus I needed some H3 time with my cousin. ;D
I'm gonna miss this place because basically I never got banned from your server...
Everyone else banned me because they thought I cheated......

It sucks though that the forums are closing, maybe if possible, Skel can leave the forums open so we can still talk around and post messages because some people that we know don't have IM clients and might still want to PM or chat with them.

It sucks though that the forums are closing, maybe if possible, Skel can leave the forums open so we can still talk around and post messages because some people that we know don't have IM clients and might still want to PM or chat with them. ya thats a good idea, i mean dont close it all the way down, but leave it open to just the users to talk on it and everything and keep it the way it is, but lock only the threads that wont be used or even delete them....this is going to suck not having a server to blow off steam in anymore...even though i was hardly in it anymore...but damn skel, you put a long fight for the best sever out there and congrats on it man...hope to talk to you again....ill probably still see some people on the servers and that but if you play css my name is nightmare...or my steam name is rouykcid i think |

skel, i have had the honor of playing with you and against you,would take playing with you anyday, lol. you and hood both, you 2 whooped me on many occasions, lol.
well it has been extememly fun playing on the servers, but as of late i havent been playing that much. other insterest which eveyone has.
thanks for all the fun and misery ;D that i have had over the years skel. take it easy, maybe one day we will meet again. peace and l8r

Hendrix not to sound like an Anal orifice or anything, but this mod is dead. Theres plenty of on this forum, that arn't active whatsoever anymore, the only reason they even talk about the mod, is because of this forum.
A new forum won't last long, trust me, this mod is dead, and its carried by a dead game. Now that halo 2 and 3 are out, how can you expect Halo 1 (Original) to be even have anyone playing it.
Mods Dead, no reason to host stuff for it anymore.
Its been fun, but like everyone has previously stated "All good things must come to an end"
This is no different, enjoy it while it lasted.
