Server Shutdown and Forum Closing

Well, I wasn't here from the beginning either. I joined this forum about the same time I started the Zero Sniper's Clan.

Since then the forums had its up's and downs, but It always was a great place to hang out, and talk about Halo, and the awesome mods Skelito made. I've meet a lot of people around here that I talk to on a regular basis.

I don't play Halo much anymore, But I've gotten a lot of people into cs:s, you know who you are....... : ) And I've spent a lot of late nights playing this game, and wen't to school far too many times late because of them.

I've had the privalage to talk to and become friends with much of the staff here on these forums. And I pretty much have good relations with all of the clan members associated with this mod, besides a select few ofcourse.

But I gotta say, I appreciated this mod the most, during the BuzzCap days. A lot of you probably don't know the BuzzCaps , but for those of you that do, those were some good times. During that time , my clan had like 10 servers running for the SDT Mods, and we were closely associated with the BuzzCap servers. Those forums were so well run, and the people and the amount of activity on that forum was amazing, much of those people now are well known throught this game.

Well, Im not sure what else to type anymore, and its kinda getting dragged out now

But I would just like to thank everyone for the fun you gave me. Since playing Halo I have changed signifactly, before I was pretty much a immature twit who couldn't type anything, and now look at me

Thank you Skel and Slng AOF and the rest of the gang around here, you've helped me through good and bad times, and its greatly appreciated. I truely am sad that this forum is gonna be closing down, and its gonna be strange not seeing the Skelito.com server aorund here longer.

I hope that the server hosts still keep the name up, and continue the legacy. I had a server going for a long time now, and I just recently shut it down.

Well its about 3:00 AM now, and I know I have all of the Skelito mods uploaded to my website, and Im sure I can dig up a link for you guys, save the Great Dr.Hyde some trouble.

Buzzcap days were great. Well before October of last year, . Or whenever, you know why Decoy, . Seeing as I was "removed" forcefully from the servers and forums, and well I desearved it for the forums, .

Well, its been a very long time since i last spoke to you skelito and looks like this could be the last time

I suppose a thank you is in order. God knows what i would have been doing for those few years (i forget how many now) if SDTM wasnt around to keep me occupied, i probably would of turned into a chav or something horrible like that So 3 cheers for skelito! And of course we cant miss out every body else who has helped out (not just the rcon holders) like cutter, griffin, sling, vort, fart, duke, aero, all the other server hosts and big contributers to the community like hood. (Sorry if i missed anyone)

Im not really good at making big posts or farewell posts so i think ill finish while im ahead, if i go any further im just gonna frustrate myself trying to think of things to say.

Anywho, thanks skel and everyone else and good luck with whatever your going to do now!


EDIT: looking at my join date it must be 2 1/2 to 3 years since started playing SDTM because it was a quite a few months before i found the forums.

ANOTHER EDIT: damnit... this is a bit more emotional than i thought it would be, i know i havnt been around much latly but the forum has always been here for me to come back for a bit of nostalgia. Its gonna be sad when its all gone, this place took a big part in my life, i made a lots of friends and even a few enemys (i dont think the enemys bit really ever showed up on the forums though) in my time here.

yeah i know its only a game but its the memorys im gonna miss and yeah i never really met any of the people here but i still consider some of them to be friends.

Reveal the rcon password to all, Im sure a bunch of us here tried to guess it numerous times, and failed miserably.

Its probably something really easy like "skelito" or "dog" something to that effect.

Before you guys do close up the forums think maybe you can show us some of the threads in the Mysterious "Admin Lounge" so we can see how this forum was run, and all the master minds behind this glorious operation.

Hard to believe that this place is gonna be gone soon.

And I still believe I was the Greatest SDTM Player of all Time. XD

Anyways, maybe we should create a poll for people to vote on who they thought the greatest player was.

Actually I only guessed at the server password one time and that was the very first time I ever stepped into Skelito's server....LOL...then I went afk for about 4 hours and was kicked by Griffin...

Ah...so many fond memories that will stay with me for a very long time.
