Hood was in the server tonight and he was being a total ***** towards BloodySword (name all in alt-code).

He kept shooting him trying to get the guy to tk him. The guy was just a normal, good player in the server and he asked repeatedly for Hood to stop, which he never did. I warned them both that I would ban them if they didn't knock it off. (I guess the cat is out of the bag on me. ) Finally, I had to switch teams to babysit the two.

Hood claimed that BloodySword got tk banned in another of the servers, maybe nc's. Sword was just trying to play. He was having fun and he wasn't team shooting. Hood tends to think that he can rule the server whenever he's on it. Cutter and I have both had problems with him before.

Should I put a post in the Courtroom, minus the:

Griffin, you are not alone in thinking this Hood guy is trouble...

In the early days of the SDTM server, Hood caused both Vortx and Myself heaps of trouble...

I will back you up with what you are saying here, I came into the game nead the end, when Hood quit!!!!

If you feel it is in the best interest in preserving game play, and the rep of the server, do what you must!! No Player right now is beyond the rules.

Posting in the courtroom would be a good thing. Negative feedback from the members helps when he gets banned... #thumb#

Hood's attitude is much improved over what it was. He's going out of his way to be friendly now.

I am hoping, though, that you guys could keep an eye on him. I have a suspicion that he may be using a view-hack. He has an uncanny ability to find people wherever they may be hiding.

The example I have was two nights ago and we were in a heavy game on BG. He was in the caves and I snuck in behind him and smacked him in the back of the head. I waited for a while inside the cave, waiting for a chance to sneak out. When I started to sneak to the blue entrance to the cave the shots started flying right before I got to the entrance. I had been watching to make sure no random shots were being fired so I was pretty sure I was safe. It wasn't until I was right there that he opened fire on the entry.

Just a heads-up and a question as to whether or not you guys had any similar thoughts or concerns.

Well Hood does play on Mac and has admitted to me he is a professional. Hate to say this, but he's good! Played him way back in the days and I'm pretty sure he's not cheating.

You probably already read This Post and what he's saying is true.

Get on his team and watch him.

I'm not trying to be a sore loser here. I just wanted others' opinions. I wanted to make sure, rather than jumping to conclusions.

I know that he is good. There's no doubt there. I just wanted to put it out for people to look at when they're on his team.

I have played both with and against him and I can't tell for sure when I'm not on his team, but he doesn't seem to hack when he is on my team. You're probably right, though, he is too damn good. Oh well, it's kinda like playing against Aftershock. Something to aspire to.

I have to do something about this, I have had too many run in's with Hood in the past...

Including Early in the mod creation, with Hood threatening to Ban both Vortx and Myself from Skelito's server, for who knows what reason.....(Hood caused me heaps of grief early in the server's history, and I have never forgiven him for this......)


My opinion....Ban him.....for any infringement of the rules, I am tired of fighting these silly idiots......

Sorry, but that is how I feel.....I'm getting increasingly irritated at these #censored#-ants....They need to be put back into their box......

Hood caused me grief when I first met him too. I think he tries to bully people until he figures they aren't going to leave the server and can't be tk banned.

Lately, his attitude has changed for the better. I would still be very leery of giving him RCON for the server though.

This is mostly in reponse to the Hood Part 2 thread:

I think that Hood is just trying to make himself known in the forums because he's trying to show that he has the servers' best interest in mind and that he would be a good choice for RCON admin. He'll eventually get over that. I think that he has his own view as to what the server should be but he doesn't yet have the maturity to take on the proper responsibility.

I would try to let him "talk" himself out and try to keep your replies positive. I think our best bet with Hood is to lead by positive reinforcement - adding to his good points and ignoring his bad ones. Once the attention is focussed on his good contributions (and he's had a few to add to the forums so far), he'll start to focus on those, rather than being a smart #censored#ss all the time.

What do you guys think?

Well after my recent interactins with Hood, I believe that he is not as old as he wants us to believe, and Yes I think he is trying to rapidly groom himself to some sort of ranking position in this forum, and on the SDTM servers....

Hood basically (in his last post) challenged my leadership of the nc] clan, maybe with the idea of starting a feud between the nc] members and myself....

I rose to the challenge, and instead of letting his sharp tongue get to me like Caf's did (I learned heaps about tactics by fighting with Caf), I turned it around and simply laid it all out and TOLD him how it was...

By not losing control of myself I was able to shut him down and put an end to the situation....

In all, I think Hood is quite clever, a pain in the rear, but with some time and maturity (like Griffin said), he may just be someone who can be of use here.....

Like Old Fart (I might just call him 'the Oracle') said, lets just give it some time and see what Hood does.........
