It's getting really close to putting this forum in maintenance mode and closing up shop. Most of you have already moved on to more greenier, graphical, todays standard play grounds.
Just incase anyone shows up here, I just wanted to say "Thank You"! I was going to make a post on the forum saying goodbye, but I don't even know anyone there. I'm just going to throw the light switch and move on.
This computer is getting tired and time for it to retire, for good. Heck if I shut it off, takes forever to get it started lol. Like Giffin said, it served it purpose and time to move on. In my spare time now, I'm scripting and building for SecondLife. People even pay me haha. Not much but I'm having fun!!
I know where to find you guys, stay safe and always have fun!

I have to say, and maybe it's because I'm in a bad mood, but my heart actually feels heavy in my chest right now. I knew this was coming, but I still wasn't quite prepared for it. Heck, I've even been playing SDTM in the servers at lunches sometimes. I've lost my touch, but it kills time anyway. Like the others have said, it's been a great experience having been a part of all of this. Even with the bad eggs it's been a pleasure playing, fighting, and "working" with each of you. We've had quite the little "Jedi Council" going on here and, as also mentioned, most of us are over at Cougar's. It's strange how you can become close to people over the internet without having ever really "met" them. I have to thank Cutter for introducing me to the server. At first, I thought I wouldn't be interested. Boy was I wrong. Oh well - so ends another chapter. #wave#

Skelito it has been a pleasure being part of your creation. We have shared so many awesome times and have made many great friendships along the way. When I first stumbled into your server (ver1.0), I thought to myself, this could be fun. I'll come back here and play again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next etc.... I met you Skel, on my second visit to the server, and we hit it off really well.
The next thing I know, I am plucked out of the thousands of players to be the first official rcon holder in the server and begin my Ninja training, then get appointed the "behind the scenes" moderator of your forum within a week of it opening up to the public. Later on, becoming the second in charge and recruiting a few extra Ninja's to the mix.
These new blokes turned out to be some of the best people I have never actually met in real life (except for Cougar A.K.A Neil, whome I have got very pickled with on many occasions!) . For the last 12-18 months I basically have run the forum for you, with the great help of the guys, and that allowed you to return to your life since your elbow has healed up.
I have learned so much along the way about what it is to be a leader, and what it is to be a decent person. Heck, I gotta admit that it has even helped me in more ways that I can think of right now, about how to deal with my own kids....Who would have thunk that!?
Being the second in command of the server and forum with such a large and wide spread following has certainly been a privelege and a whole lot of fun. Not to mention that we all managed to run one of the best, most sought after servers in Halo history....
Thanks Skelito, you are a real one of a kind,
It is truly a sad day to see this place shut up and left to gather dust.....but I guess all things have to come to an end....
What a ride.....

The second best thing about Cougar's (right after the members) is the fact that it virtually runs itself. There are no noobs to police, nothing offensive to delete, no warnings to give, etc.
It's totally wicked. ;D

Was just thinking about a friend of mine in the USA...She is totally addicted to second life, and rarely is away from the PC.....
No bloody wonder with you adding your addictive touches to the game!
