Skel,
You will have recieved the PM I sent out to everyone just now. I want to bring order back into the courtroom, and as you probably have just read, I have put my foot down.
I ask you if it is possible for you to make a new section in the staffroom (Courtroom Records), so I can deposit all of the courtroom threads into it. This can be used for future reference if we need it.
You see I would like to completley clear the courtroom, and start with a new Idea I have come up with.
This is my proposal:
Each case presented in the courtroom will remain there until a satisfactory conclusion is reached and the thread locked.
Now and then I will move the locked threads from the court, into the Courtroom Records section in the staffroom. (Deleting any useless or nuisance threads to weed out the garbage)...
This way the courtroom will be tidy and up to date.
On top of that I can monitor the postings of the members and make sure that they continue to toe the line.
This will hopefully be the last step needed to make the courtroom what it was meant to be!
Will it be possible for this to go ahead??

If it matters, I support the proposal.
(At least I'll stand behind sling until his nose bleeds... Then, he's on his own.)

Slinger - you are one sharp pencil. I don't care what Cutter says about you. Sounds like a great plan to me. #thumb#

Sounds great sling. I was thinking is it possible when a post is made if they could automatically be moved to an admin section after say 14 days. That way only recent threads stay in the Courtroom as most appear to be attracting crap after that time. This way it would be self maintaining. Posts could be reviewed by the admin if needed. Once everyone gets the message they will make the effort to get in early. Which is the same as your proposing but if it was automatic then it would be less maintenance. Just some thoughts Duke Did this pretty quickly as the Boss is coming

Yes Duke....that is kinda what I was aiming for..... As each case is completed, and locked up, it will be moved after a week or so...... My overall aim is to minimise the threads in the courtroom, and try to eliminate all these pointless, time wasting post count boosting rubbish posts.... All I need is Skel to support my cause, and create the Courtroom Records thread here, and i'm good to start moving or deleting the rubbish.... Oh, and Cutter...... I have never ever had a nose bleed. Not even after all the fights I had as a teen, and all the motorbike and pushbike stacks I had as a kid! I ended up with a few nice scars, and a few facial fractures, but never a nose bleed..... So you may just be standing behind me for a long while....that is unless I eat curry or curried eggs for dinner one night...then you will fall down for sure! ;D

Oh I like it! Either I can start a whole new board (just like the lounge) or a sub board. I will have to make sure the sub board is secure.
Looking into it now!!
Nice idea

Ok,
nearly all of the courtroom files have been moved (all except a few current running ones), and I have fixed up the rules, and notices in the courtroom.
I have made it very clear to everyone, that we are going to enforce the rules and that our word is final.
Lets see how many members either get huge warnings, or get banned because they can't be stuffed following the rules!
