Ok, the members are all acting like they are bosses of the forum.....

A whole lot of the members are trying to stamp their authority on every situation...

Skel, you need to go in and set things straight..

Please tell the members in no certain terms to leave the pointing out of problems, to the forum staff..It is time to make all forum staff known, and their authority respected.

There are too many members trying to say Dont do this and dont do that. They are second guessing the staff and the staff are not getting respect..


It is also time that all staff members are clearly visible, and the members start showing respect......I have neve seen a forum where the word of a staff member is poo poo'd as much as here...

Skel, please sort this out......I'm going to go mad if you don't, and the last thing I need is Cutter and Griffin fighting over who gets the right to take me out back and end my madness!!

1. Staff need to be clearly defined, and the members HAVE to respect the staffs authority, and word.

2. The members need to stop all acting like they are all bosses, and need to be told in no certain terns that they have to #STFU2# and let the staff handle things..


I cannot take another member disrespecting us, before I start removing all who wont let us do our job.

There is nothing worse that being a staff member if the members won't do as instructed.....

Please Skel get them to toe the line....I have tried, as have all of us staff.........Not one member wants to listen...

We wouldn't fight over it. We would compromise like responsible adults: Cutter would pay the flights and accommodations for me to take you out behind the tool shed and put a bullet (or 12) in you.

Other than that, I mostly agree with you about your post. The members are running around like a bunch of roving gangstas trying to enforce mob-rule on the forum.

Yes mate....that was the idea....

It really seems that the members just don't want to toe the line....

Perhaps I may just remove more posts than I have before, so when members all start trying to act like staff, their posts will disappear..

Skel, the main thing is that I believe that the members need to be made well aware of who the staff are and that these staff members need to be listened to, or there will be ramifications....


Like I mentioned before, we are slowly losing control of the members, and they are starting to realy push the limits of the forum....This forum at the minute is a teenage warzone, not a relaxed place to learn/talk about your mods....etc..

I just want the members to stop with the crap mate, it has gone on too long.

Griff and I were just talking about this. THere are as of this point 755 members. You (Sling and Skel) are just two people. That's a lot of people to police with just two people.

If you need to hand off some of the work, I'm willing, so is Griff. As always... just let me know what you need. I'll always stand behind you until you fall down. Then: RUN!

Cutter, of the 755 members there are only around 20 to 30 members that actually are contributing posts to the forum.

90% of the members have only come here to download the mod, and have a quick look around.........

So there are a few less real contributing members than it seems.....



My belief is that if we all get respected as staff, not just members with large mouths, some order may be able to be restored to the forum. Because we are not known as staff, the newer members react horribly when we inform them of their errors.

It does not help when a handful of members follow the suit of just one, and you see five or more members all posting the same "check the rules" comments..They should use their tiny little brains, and realize that an error has been pointed pointed out, and that there is no need to repeat the error correction over and over.

A large number of members have huge post counts because of jumping on the "I'm going to act like a person of authority, and repeat every warning or correction posted" band wagon..

This annoying behavior has to be pointed into the right direction, and taught what is acceptable. But how is this possible when they have no respect for the staff here, and try to twist what we say, and decide against us?
