New Teleport in Gulch Please...

I was playing on a server a few nights ago and the operator has teles everywhere. My favorite tele transported me to the top of that spire on the cliff next to the blue base. Inside the blue base you can get to that cliffside by stepping over one of the guns in the base....well this tele took me to the top of the spire on that cliffside. I think it would be cool to have the teleporter in the blue base take you to the top of that spire instead of the side of the cliff next to it.

Anyway, I thought it would be cool...

that would give the blues too much of an advantage and no one would approve of it.

Dude, the only advantage it would give them would be putting a blue team member farther out of sight! Plus, red already have a greater advantage with that hidden teleport in the pointy rock so close to their base. Time to even the odds. Also, anyone could just shoot nere the top of that little spire and kill the blue up there. It's a very small area up there. I just think it would be a better place for the port to lead to. Just to keep the blue more out of sight. Red have the advantage on Blood Gulch, simple as that. It's not like a blue has easy access to that rock so close to the red's headquarters.

Im kinda interested in what this server name was. I doubt skel will be adding any teleporters up top because for one it gives too much of an advantage and its way too easy to get to the porter. Besides, like Venom said, No one would approve of it. You should make your own game with the same idea.

exactly if you know how to use sparkedit and that go mod the BG the way you want it and then run your OWN server with the maps you modded.

there are only a few teleporters on bloogulch, on your base, theres one in ech base and about 4 on top.
theres one on the hil near blue team and one on the pointy rock near red base. or the rock all the way behind red base, on that hill. i believe thats all

So, the 6 working teleports in Blood Gulch are not enough....??

Yes 6 ;D 3 in Blue base, the little black rock portal near the centre cave( leading up to the high point of the outcrop next to it) and the 2 in Red base.

There used to be one more, the rock portal to the top, but this was not such a fun one....too many people complaining that they were being shot when they were trying to "get up top".


There are plenty of portals.......no need for any more.
