Ok, the method you use for inserting your sigs and Avatars are the same for both...
First, Upload your sig/avatar to a host site. (For a list of host sites click here).
Copy the Direct link to the URL of the picture you have uploaded.
You need to click the profile button on the menu bar, and select modify profile.
Next, in your sig/avatar box type![]()
and paste the URL of the image next to it...
After the URL type [/img ] <-----(no space after the g, this is for illustration purposes only , If I put no space in you would not see this example)
You should have :![]()
<URL of image>[/img ][/color] <----(no space after the g)
