u cant play on other games dat arent STD maps if u download the modded maps, ull be shooting all weird and still be able to see the effects still... i think u hsould fix it so ppl dont only hav to play STD games

lol......you just have to switch it out each time going back and forth between modded and unmodded unless you can get used to the smokey rifle lol

That's the nature of replacing an original map with a modded map. The changes (MODifications) are in the MAP file you replaced. That's why it's so important to save a back up of the original. If you want to play unmodded, you need to move the modded map out of the way, and replace the original map.

If you havent backed up your original map you can always get it back from the Cd you have.

The thing to do is goto My Computer. Then when you see all the icons you will see Halo(with the Masterchief pic), right click on it and you will see a list of options you can click-----click on Explore and the Halo Folder wil lcome up.

After you see that you will see a list of Folders, select the FilesCab Folder and open it.

Ok you will need WinRAR program for this or Winzip

Then when you open the folder you see Lots of CabFolders select Cab1 or 2 etc,open it with WinRAR and the maps you want are there just cut and paste to desktop and so on. Just remember also backup the modded maps to.
