SPCA: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals. PETA: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
I personally prefer the SPCA as they do not give kids comics books titled "Mommy is an animal Murderer", on Halloween when they clearly expect candy. PETA also phoned the widow of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan claiming that he wouldn't have died of a stroke had he been a vegetarian. And the fact that they are based in the town where I currently live and are just mean people, my vote goes to SPCA. If I can vote.

I'm going with SPCA. I didn't really know anything about them so I researched a little and they didn't seem to be against hunting, atleast not as much as PETA are. I hunt every year so obviously i'm not against it, and that means me and the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals aren't friends. But I am part of the other PETA: People for Eating Tasty Animals ;D

If that means eating them so be it. But We do need to take care of them, not destroy them. And I too belong to PETA: People for Eating Tasty Animals.

Both organizations are comprised of dirty, greasy, hippy idiots. I can't vote either way. It's like asking if you want to walk on rust razor blades, or rusty nails.

Scientology or satanism?
This is my view:
It's instinct to kill animals. Small fuzzy ones. Gross ugly ones. For food. Now when people start killing animals just for the hell of it and just leave the bodies to rot, I think those people need to be shot just for the hell of it in the middle of the woods.
When killing becomes a sport, thats when I get angry. But if you're killing animals for food, thats different. At least they will be of use. And the poor animals that starve in the winter. I think killing them quickly is sparing them of a slow painful death of starvation.
What I dont get is this. You eat a hamburger. Its a cow. A living thing. You eat a salad. Leafes. Living things.
EVERYTHING YOU EAT EITHER WAS A LIVING THING, IS A LIVING THING, OR WAS PART OF A LIVING THING. YOU EAT DEAD AND LIVING THINGS. GET OVER IT.
Now, fur coats. I personaly think thats mean. But I dont go spilling red paint on them. I personaly like the fur coat companies that use already dead animals for fur. It may sound gross but at least that animal died of natural (or unnatural who knows) causes.
So in short: Kill your animals and eat them or make use of the body. Kill your animals for fun and you need to die.
It seems to me that the PETA is like Malcom X, and the SPCA is Martin Luther King, Jr. Both are for right of animals, but one uses violence (MX), and the other is firm, assertive but does no harm (MLK).
