[Tutorial] how to add portals with spark edit*

ok i have decided to make a small tutorial because i seen some people asking about adding portals with spark edit so here it is

1. first you want to open the cached file from the maps file and then you want go to tools and click on add teleporter pair


then you want to click on the portal that would be behind the other ( might be hard to explain because you could facing a different way and looking at portals differently)


and thats mostly it..and if anyone thinks i missing something let me know.

ya it does but once you get used to using it along with HMT it will be just like puting butter on bread.

Yeah Venom I have a question, how do u take pictures of that program and take pictures of Halo? Also how do u make a picture appear at the bottom of ur post?

to take pictures you need to hit the prt-- scrn-- button
to take screen shots and you need a image hosting site to make pictures appear under my post's and i think this is way #offtopic# from what this thread is supposed to be about.

lol i wont be using spark edit anytime soon. by the time i even get a PC (custom built or course) i will be prolly to busy with other things in life....*stares into space*

Venom, putting butter on bread is hard. I got spark edit but when i try to move the portals, i get them to move up or down. How do i move them? (dont say drag because it doesnt work for me.)

to move then side to side all you need to do is have the portal highlighted and then make sure your on the little hang icon and just move it to the spot you want it to be at.

Do you do all of this on the original map or do you make a copy?

well for me since i have so many modded maps i do it to any modded or original map i have.....like i wanted to have fun with using skelitos mod then i would open that map up and start editing all of it and make it alot funner..but i use both types of maps...original maps and already modded maps...and i sometimes build my own maps.

Always make backups of the maps you modify...that way, if you mess it up you always have the original to make another copy of!
