I'm looking for a little info on modding tools. I don't need HaloCE or the HEK as I have them. What I do need is info on how to mod the map files. I have an understaning on the Halo map. I've create a few my self. But modding and creating are 2 different things. Any help would be nice. I've search the net, but all the site that have modding tool, require a paid membership I think that's messed up. I'm sure there is a free site, but am unable to find it

If you browse around, you should be able to find either HMT or HHTv5. Those are both modding tools that allow you to swap dependencies and change values. And if you wish to work with new teleporters and such, you should look for SparkEdit.

Ok cool, sorry for not reading the rules, tired of getting jerked around on the net! Do you need sapien for population in moding or just HMT, HHTv5, SparkEdit.

Actually, Sapien and Guerilla can be useful during PC modding. I would suggest not getting rid of HEK if that's on your mind.
