How to type past the limit you can normally type

(Make Sure You know Your Screen Resolution)

Okay, first, go to the directory
(C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games)
and go to the game which you would like to edit (Trial, Normal, CE) Then open up content. Okay, this is the part where you need to know your screen resolution. If you are on 600 x 480, go to 480editbox, etc. Basicly, the second number is the one you want to open (<the second number>editbox.ksml). Windows will not recognize KSML, but open it with Notepad. Where it says Maxlength "64", change it to Maxlength "1000". Fire up halo and now you can type as long as you want (it will even go off the screen)


(It works in all halo versions CE,PC and Trial)

Works for me.

Also make sure that if you're playing in a window (like me) use the WINDOW resolution, not your desktop resolution.

i fixed it. i just figured to hell with guessing and changed em all lol

Hey no problem i just mess with programming and you find stuff.
