This is just a rage post! Short story here....
Team Fortress 2 had a trading system built in. It was fast, reliable, stable and just plain awesome for trading TF2 items. Then one day Valve shoves Steam trade down everyones throats. This system blows big time. Slow as snail poop, crashes, unreliable. Ok, with that said.......
Pretty much everyone complained to Valve. Nothing was heard, they were being tight lipped. Someone started a post on the Steam forum titled "Petition to bring back old trade". WOW! I can say, I never saw a post grow so fast in a very short time. 97% /signed this and had 24k views in 3 short months, with almost 800 posts.
Well guess what? They just deleted the whole thing today with NO reason. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON VALVE? Trying to sugar coat crap, still tastes like crap!
Funny thing here. When the in-game trade was still here, I was a trading nut and having fun. Even went and started learning Hammer to make a trade map. The map is almost done and will post a vid soon. BUT! because of all this, I can no longer support Steam or Valve.
At this time here's the plan. Release the map I made and then delete everything Steam and Valve from hard drive. Besides, will be to busy with Guild Wars 2 to care about these bozo's anyways.
