The U.S. Army has already begun making that future a reality, recently ordering a $57 million "Dismounted Soldier" system that could eventually put flexible virtual reality training in the hands of any soldier in the frontline infantry. Such a system could use the latest mission intelligence to virtually re-create terrain and enemy forces that soldiers might face on the battlefield. Read the article here
