Yep , Exculsion or difference I forget which one  I think its just white , I dont no either will do , and you can do different blending options too.. and made my sig added that layer and then went to image ready to do the rest (comes with MOst CS's i think) |

I was messing around with grunge brushes... here's an example of dodge (in case photoshop doesn't have it)  The text was originally gray. |

Yep PhotoShop has like 50 I usually use overlay and screen , but it all depends...

Ok everyone at this site that makes extremely good sigs need to make a site together and have like a signature war and even make sigs for ppl..........n-e-wayz good job Dread
