My Recent Sig, Sonic, Shadow The Hedgehog

Hey, just created a new sig. Its not halo, but I think its good. For you who dont know who Sonic, or Shadow the hedgehog are, well.. LOL Sonic was first on Sega, released in 1991. he became a popular sega character, and so on.. Also, photoshop was used in the making of this sig. MS Paint dont cut it, LOL. Now for the picture.

First off Im going to list the steps. The pictures should explain most of the work.
Step 1, took a picture, turned into step 2

Step 2-3 Step 3, i did extrlude.

Used Shadow The Hedgehog picture.

Steps 4-5

Steps 6-7


Final Picture:



im thinking about opening up a foum about graphics and stuff like that. Maybe create a site, and make tutorials, i donno.

I also turned this in for a school work, in Computer Graphics. And No, I didnt use Drop Point in when I turned it in. We use photoshop alot. Though I dont learn anything, because I know it all already, hehe.

LOL obviously your signature skills are pretty dull cause all you got are yellow words. Getting into edgwise society maytake a life time to get into. ROFL

Back to topic Drop Point you do got a natural touch mate, I havent seen many people with a passion such as yours for sig making and the creativity. I wish when I have the chance I could save some green to buy the latest Photo Shop or Adobe and get back into what I like to do.

Keep up the good work and maybe soon you could make images for many people.

Just one more thing Drop Maybe taking some time on the font would make it at 100% rather than a simple placement 99%

Thanks for the comments. I love making sigs and other graphics. I also love drawing in my freetime.
The font was one I downloaded, but I thought that one fit in there well
Hope you can get the latest Photoshop (I think the new one is Adobe Photoshope Elements 3.0) Thats what I have.

Hey drop point awesome sig dude..I would say it's your best so far.
You are a very creative person and I think you're going to go somewhere with this sig making. You should post some drawings since you said you like doing that also. Oh and yes that text could use a little work..maybe put stroke on it and an outer glow but otherwise it looks great. And can i ask how you did that box look on sonic?

Sure, Ill post some drawings sometime. And the box thing is called Extrude, if I spelled it right, lol. Its in adobe photoshop under, Filter< Stylize< Extrude.

Ya, i dont really like the extrude.. But the lens flare kinda gives it that standing out touch. Anyhow, since your whining (LOL JK) and all, here is what it looks like without lensflare and extrude, hehe.

added simple sharp outer layer, text thing, font name is: ChickenScratch AOE, Enjoy *cough*baby*cough*
