Ledge up in Death Island

I do not quite remember what the name of this map is, but it's like death island, or something like that. Anyway, if you go to your base(and you need skels server to do this), outside there should be a banshee. Blast it inside the base, where the narrow part is. Push the banshee further to the back.

Then try to hit it in an even position having the nose face the front of the base. Get in and quickly turn it so that you can go up the slant. Keep going to the top, then there will be a bit of an open area.

You will also see the ledge according to what direction you are facing. Position it having the back of the banshee parallel to the ledge and point it up a bit. Eject and should land out on the ledge. (This also took me a few times to get right)


Once above their if a enemy comes in you base. Your gun should go boom with your command and bye-bye to flagstealer.

that's a nice spot, but personally I think it's much more effective of a spot on a heavy weapons server. With these modified tank round they can kill you up there just as easily as you can kill them (you have nowhere to run from the splash damage).

Granted, it'll take them a few deaths before they realize where you were. If you're extra sneaky, maybe they'll never figure it out. Of course, then you're only good for defense, and if your attention wanes even for a second they'll be outta your reach and on their merry way...

Still, this makes me wanna try it again...

***I dont know.....using this stradegy makes the enemies and Teammates agaisnt you meaning trying to pull it off, some little 12 yearold might come into the server and start throwing nades at you and screw up the plan***

I dont think its a perfect stradegy for SDTM or normal weapons server but a hard intence 12 player Heavy Weps can be very usefull >>> *- still follows

I must say you guys are right with the heavy weapons, but some guys are so oblivious to you shooting down at them that you can stay therre the whole time, and still they wont do anything. Kinda funny.

its hard to get a picture because its so dark on my screen but just go into the base then look up to the ceiling near the middle and find a ledge thats what they're talking about i believe

So is this the one WAY up high in the centre of the base? I've played a mod that had a porter that goes up there before. It was kind of cheap.

But if a guy can work really hard to get himself up there - all the power to him...

on slapahos server on red base if you jump on the rock in front of the base itll take you up there in blue base.
its great for a little while until they all notice the trails leading from the top and they shoot you
