Getting Power up's easier

Well I have a few small tatics that seem to help, here is one some of you know this an use it but just for those who dont.

(1) Shooting power up's such as invis and oversheild

Walking through the caves can end up in some suidide or head on colision with the other team. I use the pistol to walk through here an have the melee key ready but once im near the middle i pull out my sniper and shoot then over shield so it comes at me (shoot behind power up) so that way i have an advantage if someone is also running towards the middle same time as me, you may even kill someone whilst your there.

some down side to this is giving away position..

You can also shoot the power ups in the middle,

Blue: Shoot ghost next to power up (assuming they are both there) an the power up generally flys in front of the tele exit from top of base, Or on a slight slant over the hill where (facing red base) you walk to the right should be visible, u can then shoot the slant and have it come towards you. Makeing it safer then walking up on that hill in plain veiw

Red: once your though your tele on top of the base, shot 7 (no more no less people) your postion has been given away , so what i usualy do is ger protection, I do this by shooting the power up in the middle towards me, you will have to go up the hill a bit (try to keep coverd) shoot just behind the power up an walk down the bottom of the hill where it 'should' end up.

down side once again.. giving away position and concerntrating on power up instead of others

It take a while to get used to, with differnt variables involved but I have found it very handy

I don't worry that much about the power ups but as blue if you can get command of the hill below blue's cave exit you can see red going thru the tele on their base and just peek over the hill and shoot em as they emerge. I really like working that hill both sides and nailing em. I always change to pistol inside a structure base or tunnel. As red I always grab the powerup going thru the tunnel, it helps if you get fragged on the way out

Yeah, works on most maps this tactic, one of my favs.
Especially on Danger Canyon, stood below the bridges and shooting the overshield powerups away from the spawnpoint makes it easy to kill anyone who teleports through.
