settin up the server

is there any way i dont have to type all this in to start my server:

Yes, just edit your "init.txt" file where you put the server software.

sv_password halo <---change to what you want
sv_mapcycle_timeout 5
sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch sniper
sv_mapcycle_add dangercanyon sniper
sv_mapcycle_add timberland sniper
sv_mapcycle_add icefields sniper
sv_mapcycle_add deathisland sniper
sv_mapcycle_add chillout sniper

now it says the name has to be between 1 and 15 characters it never did that before

We fixed the problem in the chatroom. Found out he had 2 versions of the server software. *Note: If it tells you the name can only be between 1 and 15 characters, your running an older version of the software. You need to update.
