why can i make a DS game, but i cant find it? i followed all the steps and crap to set it up, then when i saw that two people were on it, i ended the game.
point: why can i not find some servers at times?

Ok, now I'm assuming that DS game means dedicated server game.....The question is: Why shut it down when people join it? The whole point to hosting a server is to get people to join......right??
Secondly..........No one really knows why some servers don't show up in the lobby....it is just a bit of a bug in the game..
Now about not finding your own server....perhaps there are a few settings you need to tweak further......

you need to type sv_pubic "true" in the .init text file.

Go to settings in Halo PC like in game and go to network settings or setup change your ports to 2300 & 2305, 2300 in the top box and 2305 in the bottem box and i see my own servers all the time try that i hope it works cause it fixed both shady and my problem.

If you want to be in the server all the time watching people there is no point making a dedi. Just make a normal server.

Banning does work in a normal server.....you can even set an RCON password if you want....
Although the rcon password is not necessary in a non dedicated server.....the RCON controls still work for the host..
