Because sometimes I need a change of scenery, I fire up CE and explore different worlds. Zoom around in The Wasp or check out the Halo2 maps. If there is enough interest, the members could put a map pack together (maps you enjoy playing) for 6 players. We could do like a CE Sunday and test it out to see if it flys. Here are a few maps I have been testing for gameplay. Classis Coagulation H2_Momentum H2_Backwoods Immure (a must play) There are so many to look at out there that would be fun. Just curious here if this is something the members would want to try??? Thx! |

I voted "no." I don't think it sucks though. Back in my Rabid Clan days, we used to play in the TWL league and Halo CE was the Halo that Games were played in.
I like the idea, but there is sooo little interest and downloading maps all the time was kinda annoying.

I do agree CE is on it's last breath, and this is due to having to always download maps. Sundays are the slowest time for my server, and alot of times I shut it down in the mornings and check out CE.
The only reason this subject got started is because of the development of the new Halo2 maps. It is only in it's early stages and needs alot of work, but these maps are sure fun.
Believe it or not, the #1 map played on CE is Bloodgulch...Ahhh Right! The original maps are not even in my maps folder. Because on these Sunday mornings I get away to the CE world, I just thought some of the other members would be interested.

Beating a dead horse huh? Maybe mate, but as you said, time will tell.. I don't use CE because I already get into too much trouble with the Girlfriend, for spending too much time playing Halo pc!! Any other reason to play for longer would result in me getting severly scolded and not getting a hot meal for months..... Hehe!!  |

Well I screwed up when I made this poll. Should have just put YES and NO. Gee! Looks like CE is getting a bad rap with the "Nope it sucks" option! Sorry for this! The thread will remain open for discussion, but I'll close the poll. Don't want the CE players knocking on my door..... ;D It is dangerous to trade one addiction for another.... Withdrawls from one will be bad enough, but the intoxication of another will be too much for me to bear... Sorry, Halo PC for me!!! CE is not so much an addiction, more like a vacation from HaloPC. When you have that feeling of getting bored, jump on over to the CE community, get it out of your system, and right back to HaloPC. It's just another option for you to explore..... #thumb# |

I recently got Halo Custom Edition and its fun. I havent got any maps downloaded yetbut right now im getting [glow=red,2,300]H2_Bloodgulch, Zanzibar, Hugeass, Backwoods, and H2_Innerpoa[/glow]. They all look awsome. I might play tonite so if anyone wasnt to play just say something. |
