Things in the Courtroom have gotten a little crazy lately. People have been making all sorts of accusations - usually with little or no evidence.
It seems that anytime anyone comes up against someone better than them (or just having a good game), they accuse them of hacking. I have been accused of hacking several times over the past few weeks, both in-game and in the Courtroom.
My suggestion is for everyone to take a moment to consider whether or not a player actually is hacking and then spend some time testing your theory before coming back here to complain about them.
Another thing that seems to be happening, lately, is that the threads seem to be degenerating into little flame wars where one person starts to insult the accused or the accuser. This does nothing to help the people decide if a hack is being used and it doesn't help the server admins to determine whether or not to impose sanctions on the accused.
We should all take a step back, take a deep breath, and think before we start accusing people in the forums.
Just my somewhat verbose #2cents#.

Very nicely put............
The only thing I can add to this is maybe that once report is made here in the forum, only the server operators and RCON holders should be able to discuss what to do about the suspects........
Also another Idea is that If you have anything to add to the Accusation, maybe send a PM to the creator of the post, and he/she can edit your name into the post as a witness.....
This way, there will be an accusation, an explanation of the wrongs comitted and a list of witnesses...
It will seriously lower the flaming level here, and be more of a useful tool rather than a mass fight..
After all we want to create solutions, and remove the bad guys....
Just my beliefs....

If you think someone is hacking or using a cheat, it is much better to PM me. If the player you are accusing reads the post, they simply change their name. Also, if you know one of the big guns that play alot, you could let them know as well. They have ways of checking these things out!
Because I can't play 24/7, mostly the names of the AFK, TK'ers, and rude rule breakers I'm looking for. Once a name is mentioned here, say for chronic AFK, it goes on a watch list.
Just because a player went AFK, that you never played against before, is no reason to report. Hate to say this but it happens. BUT, if you see a player ALL THE TIME breaking the rules, I want to know about it!
AS FAR AS THE FLAME WARS GOES! Watch a courtroom movie. Would someone stand up and call another person a FRACKING IDIOT?? Think not! It will not happen anymore here as well. You will get a warning, then that pretty red warning bar under your name.
Any questions?
