Autoban Settings*

Hey guys! I have been using this command when I fire up the server: sv_ban_penalty 2h 1d 7d 0
Unfortunately, you have to do it manually every time...

What this does is adjust your default autoban setting to whatever you want. To find your default, just type in sv_ban_penalty at the console.

Here's my break down:
2h = Players can come back after 2 hours for the first TK
1d = 2nd offense, 1 day
7d = 3rd, 7 days
0 = 4th, Their done playing on this server

You can adjust this to whatever fits best for you. I know it's a pain, but thought I would pass it on to you anyways.

Yeah, I always wondered why when i banned someone they came back after like 5 min. Then when I checked my ban penalty, and it was set for 5 min. Well now I changed it to your suggested settings and I hope it works, thanks.

But its pretty hard to kill your own team mates in SDT, so its pretty hard to get banned ^o) unless its for another reason?

I imagine if you typed sv_ban person, it would use the same ban_penalty, since it isn't called sv_autoban_penalty. :S

You are incorrect there GAMEchief,

When the rcon command : rcon <password> sv_ban <Player Number/Name>, the targeted player is permenantly banned from the server, unless you decide to manually un-ban the offender..
