Ok I mess around with alot of things. So i decided to try messing around with resolutions etc.. And i figured out how to get Halo to go WideScreen or whatever resolution you want!!
Getting The Game Running In Wide Screen
First Get your Halo Updated Next Set the resolution by adding
CODE -vidmode w,h,r
to the end of the target line in the shortcut for halo...
Key Box:
CODE
EXAMPLE: -vidmode 1680,1050,60 ... or your desired resolution.
To add the command line switch to the shortcut. Right click the shortcut and select properties. Then change the target line so that it reads:
CODE "X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\Halo.exe" -vidmode 1680,1050,60
Where X:\ is the drive and folder you installed Halo.
BUT resolutions that high can't be handled by less than a 256MB card. The game needs just over 128MB of card mem for the resolution/framebuffer/texture memory etc...
There you have it, Have fun and enjoy!
