Unofficial Tutorial for Skelito's mod*

Ok, I know it took me forever but I've FINALLY finished my version of Skelito's tutorial vid. Note that I know my voiceover sucks, i really do, so there's no need to point it out. If he wanted a better voiceover Skelito would've paid me that $2.

In any case, this isn't an exhaustive tutorial. Rather, it introduces the weapons, shows the hidden teleporters, teaches you a few strategies and gives you a sample of how much fun you can have.

Skelito finally makes an appearance in one of my vids, and Cutter dies prominently a number of times. Thanks for all the help making this, to ALL of the many actors that contributed, you'll likely see your names in here. Venom was MOST helpful providing me use of his server for a great while, even passwording it for a week so we could get the shots we need. lol, chief, templar, point and many others devoted a LOT of time to helping me arrange some of these shots. Templar is the victim patiently standing by the tree. He stood there without a peep for at least an hour while we trained everyone else how to act. I OWE you man!

Awesome video, I don't think there could be a better explanation of the mods. I liked the beginning with venom and the little medics. Two thumbs up, possibly an Academy Award winner.

Now that was AWESOME! The voiceover is what really made this video. Love the beginning of this tut.

This should really help out those who don't have a clue and the new players.

Sorry if it loads slow for some of you. Once I get it online somewhere you'll be able to save it to your HD and watch it full screen.

And for the newer ones, please take notice of where I aim. I don't think i directly shot a single person in this entire video. ALL of my shots are aimed with splash damage in mind. This should be the first adaptation you make for this mod.

Again, kudos to Skelito for providing this mod in the first place. It's not like I was likely to create a tutorial for any of the other mods i've come across...

'tis true, he did get me at least as many times, but I prefer to die only ONCE each video.

And I contemplated cropping out the names like they do in Red vs Blue, but decided against it since while it would make it look more professional, it'd also rob you guys of your 6.5 minutes of fame, and that just WOULDN'T be right. These vids are as much yours as they are mine.

Thx for the offer, Venom, but this'll probably be my last vid for a few months. Took me so friggin long I think i'll need a vacation... Plus I've kinda run out of things to film... I fit Gephyr into this one, and it's not even finished yet! Also, I'm getting an ATI X1600 card March 1st, so my next one (assuming there is one) will be feature better quality graphics.

I just re-watched it and realized why some people think I cheat. If you watch the segment in Ice Fields where I'm on top of the enemy's base, you'll notice that of the 7 guys I killed, I only saw like 2 of them. The rest was just radar + guesswork.

Wow hood that movie is awsome! Never knew that you were so good at making these! The voiceover was really well done, the music was just right, and the actors were great.
