spark edit is mainly for moving and add scenery along with adding teleports and moving vehicle's and also importing vehicles and swapping.

and i believe that isnt the newest version so you cant do the import stuff with that one

dont worry spike once you start using spark edit and HMT you will get the hang of doing mods and you will be maybe better then me and nc]innova in modding maybe but after you have mastered the basic modding you could move to PMI the covenent and other stuff into mp maps and you will learn how to rebuild maps and convert single player maps to mp.

yea, this all is hard, im still in the basics but my cous is a real friggin wiz at this, lol, and it is an old modle of spark edit but i like the 3.01, ive tried the .02 but switched back, i might reload the .02 again, idk yet

NO SORRY! there is no SparkEdit for mac! I wish there was, but there isnt!!!
Sorry there is a SparkEdit v.1.0 for mac but it does not allow you to moddify anything, only lets you have a look at the maps and weapons.
NOTE: In the "read me" that came with it, it said....
The next version should bring display of:
The sky
Scenery
Weapons
Vehicles
Spawn Points
CTF Points
Race Points
etc.
