Anyone know how to enable zoom on a vehicle(tank) ?
All I could do is change da scorpion reticle to that of snipers,its more accurate.

Didnt we have a thread like this before? No, there is no possible way to make zoom on vehicles.

The thread we had before on this was pertaining to the zoom on turrets, since they are all stoked up to kick ace. It was determined that it wasn't possible to do that, much to my dismay.

Yeah like urban said it cant be done im a modder as well and I've tried a lot before and it does'nt work

yes I have tested that before it does nothing it might be possible if you could make a custom Plug in that is how i made weapons shoot vehicles and other stuff like weapons and odd balls

OMG i was stupid when i said it can't be done just open up HMT3.5
And go to the weapons tag all the way at the bottom and you should see a tag like this
vehicles\c gun turret\mp gun turret gun
then click on that and at the top in the Tag editor section you should see an editbox with the title of
Zoom levels
minimum zoom
and maximum zoom
just edit those to the zoom level you want then close it but the zoom levels and zoom mini mum cant go over 2
and the max zoom can only be 2 or 8

Really Hawk? Cause I tried that just now. It did nothing for me.
If it worked for you then maybe I have a messed up HMT, but If it worked for the Turret then would it work for a vehicle such as a tank or warthog?

ok, to be honest, the idea of zoom on a tank or hog is utterly stupid. If you can count all the times you've been pasted while zooming the pistol or sniper, you'll see no need to give the tanks zoom...
may not sound fair to any modders, bnut its the truth, like it or not.
