According to my research (and I am the furthest thing from a Mac pro) the methods of using ALT codes should be the same.

Push down and HOLD the ALT (or Options) key. AT THE SAME TIME AS HOLDING IT DOWN, hit 0167. That should give you this: "§"

Cutter, it doesn't seem to work. I know how to do it on the desktop but not on halo, just hold done the 'apple' and you can click any letter except for 'q' which will close your application.
