Still working on the distance! I guess it's almost twice as far as it's unmodded counterpart. After alot of ingame testing, (and a 1:2 ratio) seems like it needs a tad more distance. Sure is brutal close range though. Melee is sweet! Might need to put a bigger clip in also...

ya a bigger clip would sound nice maybe give it a 100 round clip and 900 rounds of ammo, and maybe for the range of the weapon you can maybe give it the same distance as a pistol would have or maybe just make it a little weaker then the sniper rifles distance.

Well because this is a close range weap, the distance is alot shorter then the other weaps. You need the frustration factor of getting close enough to inflict max damage. I did put a 100 round clip in it, but the counter only shows 60. Haven't looked into that yet!

So far seems to be working OK! Still testing it in game, but right now I'm just having fun abusing it...LOL!

Wow, you wait to put the AR back in the game AFTER I can't host my server. Just kidding. Well sounds cool, and schools almost out so I should be back in the Halo community pretty soon. I can't wait for the new AR!!! My favorite weapon.

hey skel just an idea for the looks of it?? maybe if it is at all posible to add and extension clip to it and the pistol well maybe just pistol but that would look sick....uuu ya idea

It can be done, but this means making a model with 3d max. Plus alot of other stuff to get the 3rd person view when carring the gun.

I've also got a few PM's about increasing the range of the assault rifle. The idea is to put a little challenge into this. Yes you have to be alittle closer to get the knee dropping, head bobbing kill this is true. But doesn't it feel good when you get the kill against someone carring something more powerful then a tank?

It's not so much about skill, but how sneaky you are. This short range weap adds a frustration factor, and for me thats an added rush. Wouldn't you agree!
