Well you guys are going to hate me! The portal to the top of BG was never designed to, drive up to the rock and jump on it. This was a glitch that someone discovered and has been corrected.
Because the latest versions of these mods are always on my server, jumping on the rock doesn't work anymore. Pass the word along! It's back to the original plan. Back the hog up to the rock and jump out. Version 7.2 will reflect this change and will only effect those who want to host.
Someone care to make a "how to" video or tut on using this portal.

Portal will always be there, just disabled on my server. This just means you can't drive up to the side and jump out anymore. You have to use the original method of getting to the top.
I'll put a warning about this to the server hosts when I release it. When you ask....working on it!
I can see the hate mail now... ;D

i tried the easy method once, i found it harder :S most people dont know about it anywho

The problem is, most players don't know about the original way to get in. From what I see in the servers, everyone knows about the, drive up and jump out method. This got fixed right away on my server when I saw it. But this is the method of choice in other servers. 7.2 will have this fix and server hosts may not want it. I'll make sure they know before downloading. Just trying to give you guys a heads up and letting you know. Plus, if you are trying the "drive up, jump out" method on my server, don't waste your time...  |

Wait a sec,
There was an easier way than the ever-so-risky "Get out of the Hog and pray it works" method? Why didn't anyone tell me about it!?!??
[EDIT]: I just realized that the so-called "Easier" way of using the portal was just what I thought was the "Noob Way".

Thepwner, please be more specific. I agree with skelito, why? I didn't even see an opinion in skelito's post  His post was all statement. I always used the side method because I could never get the backup method to work. I guess i'll be practicing on a LAN server(can't make online servers  ) |

The whole idea was for players to practice getting up top. If they could make it, then they deserved to be up there spawn killing. (thats how it ended up)
The reason it is fixed now is because it's not fair to the blue side. This portal is an advantage to red (and smart blue guys) I know this. When I'm on blue, I find it more fun sitting in the crows nest, with pistol, getting red frustrated...LOL!
Kudos to the player who found this glitch. But, beyond version 7.1, this method of getting topside will not work anymore. It's only fair that server hosts and all players are warned.
Is it possible to change my mind about this? Nope!

yes i would like to make a video on a how to..but im going to need a server and a server host who will let me get up top of bloodgulch for a mere 30 seconds or a little more to film the whole thing....from getting the hog there under alot of shooting...oh wait...ill have to ask KG AERO if i could use his server and see if i could make a filming server from him for just a couple seconds..so skelito......I made this small vid at the time being hoping it would help but i need more editing almost...or just redo'ing the whole vid.....so skelito if you want me to...PM me and ill film it and sent it to you through email.
