Whats better?

I recently have Cable 3 Meg DL and 300+ Up Load. I'm switching to DSL 5 Meg DL and 600+ Up Load. I just want to know what u guys know about the 2, and could I be making a bad decision?

My dad and me & Shady both have cable a ripping speeds and they rock i vote cable!

I voted cable, but that's just because I have cable, and am very satisfied with it (6 meg dl, 768 up).

But if the DSL is faster, I would suggest the DSL!!


It would be a good Idea to talk with the guy who's selling it to you, and see if you can get a comparison.

In the near future, the DSL line I use will be uprgaded to 24,000 download and 1500 upload......

As I live about 1km from the exchange, I hopefully will have very near full speed!!!

But I have to wait for another year before it is enabled in my area!

It all depends, with the DSL how far away from the exchange are you? You may lose a considerable amount of the speed and with the cable, how many in your area use it? cable connections are shared so the less people that use it faster it goes.

I got DSL now and it seems to be working fine, after an hour of tech support and "slapaho" on dat ass they some how by passed the modem and has got me linked str8 to them??? What ever. But it worked so if u guys that come in my server could give me some feed back I would greatly appreciate it.

hey slap i been waiting for the server to come up aint even seen you online today DSL running ok over there. well im out peace just wanted to know what happened. but hope to battle up with you guys in the near future even though i suck at this game but its still fun even if i lose so its all good. its a game right ;D lataz.

I think cable will run servers better at night but in the long run DSL might do better because when people on cable start downloading or uploading then it needs to even everything out with DSL its a complete set connection.

I have DSL 10 meg down, 2 meg up and I like it #thumb#

Really lets see a screen shot of what you got whos your provider enzo id like to see that stuff because from what i know the highest bandwith thing would be around 10 down and 1.5 up

The highest DSL i know of is 22 or 24mb downstream and another place does 2mb upstream (and there is probably faster) so Enzo's is possible

Master, the fastest DSL we can get here in Australia is 24meg download and 1meg upload..
So believe that 10 meg/2meg is entirely possible!
