running twin cable: now 15mb dn & 3mb up -> 30dn & 6up
running twin DSL: now 8mb dn & 2mb up -> 16dn & 4up

total 46dn & 10up
but it has to be on different connections (p2p on one, halo on another or direct ip sign up, etc) they can all share incoming ports but can only use 1 at a time for outgoing... (unless that person is connected on a different port other than the one specified...)

gets very confusing with load balancing and multi-homing...

btw, adsl2+ is not 1.5mb+ its more like 20mb+ and adsl goes up to 8mb and techinally 256kb is not adsl, it dosnt go that slow, it uses adsl yes but they cap the speed ¬_¬.

If i moved about 10 miles north i could get an adsl2+ connection at 24mb/s. At the moment i only have 2mb, i was gonna upgrade but unless i wanna start hosting a server again i dont really need to.
