Well I bought Halo 2 Vista yesterday, and The graphics are unreal, but the game speed is very slow, and is gonna take some serious getting used to.
Also, the setup was the biggest pain, You have to sign in with your windows live account, and then your gamertag, and It feels like your constintely doing the same thing. So far I havn't really played it much, it doesn't seem fast paced enough for me.
It also comes with Halo 2 Dedicated Server Software, and Modding Software, but whenever I attemped to run the Dedicated server, the cmd prompt would close as fast as it wen't up, and theres no support for it.
The Halo 2 Folder that it instals in your Microsoft Games Folder is 4.2 GB.
All and all, It needs some serious updating and fast.
Also theres about 50 servers up, and a lot of them run empty, and everyone i've seen so far is 16 players, which is the maximum size of a server.
Some of the maps are awesome, the Coagalation map is like Bloodgulch on Steroids, and when you get shot in a vehicle, the vehicle starts to fall apart, which is awesome.
Some of the controls are different, and you can talk in game.
It seems cool, but It needs updates.
I tried to take screenshots with xfire, and It wouldn't work, and neither does the xfire ingame.

Well I have a Nvidia 7300 GTS (512mb) card, and I hate it, but It does the trick.
But the graphics still look awesome.
The minimum gfx cards you nee to play with are .... Nvidia 4100, and a ATI X700 Above

From what I've heard people say..it's running slow on most computers because Vista is hogging most of the resources.
On the other hand, I haven't played unmodded Halo/Halo2 for close to a year. It'd be pretty slow paced like decoy said.
Hopefully it will get better with patches..if not, at least PC owners should get Halo 3 by 2015.

..if not, at least PC owners should get Halo 3 by 2015. You know what the said thing about that is............ It might just be true The game speed itself is slow, but I have a low end video card and it runs fine for me, It seems to run well. I don't have a problem with any game I play on Vista.

Heck Halo 2 Vista is pretty good as decoy said, I have all the rerquired settings. X700 Gfx card 1GB of ram and a 2ghz processor and even that runs fine.

It is worth the buy if you have xbox, cheaper then PC.. Plus you don't have to worry about all the issues PC has.. I doubt id want it on PC, cause I play it on 360 and it's alot better..

i have played halo 2 for xbox and you can do some serious altering to that stuff, even though modding is banned for the xbox you can do some sick stuff with it.

Can you "mod" on Halo 2 Vista?
Also I kinda quit Halo2 for XBox and X360 because Bungie took off Modders...and just banned the hell out of them......like no accounts ANYMORE.....
But really why waste money on H2V when H3 is about to come out? (Thats just my opinion)
Because if you don't have Vista you have to buy that.
They you have to buy H2V. When you can just buy a X360 for 200-400 and get H2 for $20-30....
Then when Halo3 comes out you already have an Xbox 360 and all you have to do know is buy H3.
While if you have Vista you will be sitting on the edge of your chair waiting for Vista to release H3V when Halo Wars will come out for Xbox 360.....

I'm just glad that H2V was only 35 dollars.... Nice and cheap, and it runs great at very decent resolutions, the only thing that was a pain in the ass was entering the gamer tag info to join a multiplayer game.... ( played it all day at a friends, im not fortunate enough to have vista : D)
