How long will you keep on playing Halo

I just started a poll on how long will people be playing halo. Halo is a mad FPS but does it have the potentinal to last forever and will there be enough servers as there were when it started 3 years ago.
Who knows it could last forever or youll be seeing the game on the bottom of the 10$ pile at you gamjng retailer aha! #wtf#

Hmmm as long as there are still servers running and they're not being run by communists then, I suppose, I'll still be here playing.

I mean there are still many Quake 2 servers up and running quite a few people were in there also.

i chose forever even though i do play counter strike source alot more its always good to have different games to play instead of one game all the time.

Two years, because that's how long it will take them to release Halo 2 for the pc/mac. And honestly, once halo 2 is out, AND once skelito ports his mod, there'd be no reason to keep playing one...

Yeah thats an awsome point.As soon as its here Skelito you better make a H2SDTM!!! I dont think anyone will play Halo as soon as Halo 2 hits the PC and MAC

you know what would suck? what if it took them forever to release dedi for h2? (knowing microsoft, probably)

and hood how will you play halo? Your a mac user

and plus skel will be buried trying to mod all those maps. Us master modders (Me, venom, innova-(probably not, way to busy), and a few others on here)

plus hmt wont work so someone will need to be smart enough to figure that one out

As much as that COULD be true I don't think it will be.

As I stated above quake 2 is still going strong and that's been out for quiet awhile now.

And in order to even run vista you will need a new monitor, probably more ram, a 64 bit processor, a new Direct X10 video card (At least to play halo 2)

I think halo will still be going strong 10 years from now even with the release of the new halo game(s).

And when Skel makes his mod for H2 then yeah, I will be spending my life playing that but it will still be fun to go back and play the original halo every once and a while as it is a classic

Without Skelito's mod, I probably wouldn't of kept playing halo as much as I have been. The great mod, servers, and the pwnzer community (excuse my vocabulary) keeps me playing Halo #thumb# Hopefully this community can stick together for a long time to come

I will start playing halo when I get my internet back and I get a new CD. For now, I play Quake 3 and our whole school gets in on it during class and its like a big LAN party Back to the question, I will play Halo till I die, well, Ill still play it when I die ;D

Well I put until it gets boring because when h2 and hopefully some time in the universe h3 comes out then it will be much better. I wonder what it will be like. All i ask is when will it be out and how long will it take for another one of skelitos mods?

I've actualy stopped playing halo since i was banned from skels. Then i got into it then I stopped.

So im on and off about halo. I play here and there with some "old friends" but other then that I dont play.

Some people will still play, of course, but likely only those that either don't have Halo 2, don't care for Halo 2, or who's computer can't handle the requirements. And seeing that Halo 2 will require Vista (which itself won't go Pro until 2009), I have to revise my estimate and say that at least a quarter of the current Halo players may be stuck with Halo 1 for a good while longer than I thought. Those quake 2 players are likely people who's computer just can't run the newer ones...
