nvidia are the best ones made for new upcoming computers...and they have pci-e 16x cards and ati only have 8x i think.

I voted Nvidia because that is what I'm using now ;D
But both companies have their pros and cons.
ATI has high quality AF, can do HDR+AA in most games that nvidia can't (only the X1000 series), and has better performance in shader intensive games (Oblivion)
Nvidia has a more mature way of doing SLI, usually seems to have better performance in games (though very little), can currently do Quad SLI, uses less power, generates less heat, etc...
Both companies have ups and downs.
Really comes down to what you want.

I found that ATI Radeon cards do the invisibility graphics way better, but the power and quality of the GeForce 6600XT 256meg card kicks butt!
I swear by the nVIDIA cards!!

I vote Nvidia because my Gamecube has an ATI video Card and it's graphics suck compared to my friends computer with a Nvidia.

Well if you mean that you see only a light outline....yes, but if you wanted to see the shimmery water like invisibility then No.....ATI do that, but GeForce don't

The invisibility you described is the way GeForce (nVIDIA) cards display it....
ATI Radeon cards do that part better, I used to be an ATI Nut, unitl I got this current GeForce card......
Power Plus......!!

Power Plus......!! They're both great, with their own advantages... But I still want the cool shiny thing... Oh well, I'm building a custom for my friend, and he's getting a X1800XT so, I'll see the shiny once in a while...
