Tsk tsk tsk..
Did you have some chaser?
I've always wanted to go to Rotterdam and go to a terror/gabber rave. But I'd probably have a seizure.

Great pictures mate! I would have done the same thing myself! Except sometime you see a Kodak moment and you don't have a camera !

Forgot I eve had this thread here. Post some new stuff for ya's cos I'm bored. This one was taken from the motorway bridge near my house. Took me a while to get the camera settings right for it. This one is one I took of a band I know, they asked me to some photos for them on location when they were shooting a music video, I obliged. You can just see the drumkit peeking in on the right side of the pic I'll post some more when I've hosted them somewhere.

†Dante†,
In the snow pics, had you been using a particular filter to soften the image, as well as add color distortion, or was it just a lucky few snaps?
I ask this because I have recently purchased a very good camera, and am wanting to experiment with lens filters. I have a polarised one, which is awesome when in bright light, and taking pictures over water....
So if you play with filters, what ones are you using?

I've "softened" the images in Photoshop afterwards. The red sky effect is due solely to a long shutter speed, the photo's were actually taken at around 9pm outside in the pitch black, because of the light pollution caused by living near a big city the sky glows red because I left the camera's shutter open for around 20seconds. I also used the flash which highlighted the grass in the foreground of the picture and made it glow white because of the snow. I can leave my camera in what SEEMS like a pitch black field outside my house and set a 20 second shutter speed and because of the sheer amount of "sky glow" light pollution the photo will come out showing everything bathed in a red and orange light. I don't actually use any filters infront of my lens, mainly cos I don't have the funds to get hold of any. If there's a particular effect I want then I modify my pics in Photoshop afterwards. Whatever effect I apply I apply it to the whole picture so it's not "cheating" as such. When I can I prefer to leave my images totally unmodified though as it's more "genuine". What camera you using? I'm using one of these babies. www.sony.com.au/objects/600x400/DSCF707_1.jpgIt's hardly top of the range but I got it second hand from a friend who's a pro photographer so he taught me how to get the best out of it. This was his "fun" camera as well, he has some stupidly expensive equipment for his "real" work.
