Thats pretty cool man. I like the whole explosion and all only thing i would change is the text perhaps...its slightly hard to read

Yeah, did you apply the blur effect to the text as well cos I'm struggling to read it. I only knew what it said cos I knew your name, if I'd seen the picture on its own I don't think I woulda had a clue.

I would've kept the text normal, perhaps even made it stand out slightly by using a colour contrasting with the background or applying a stroke border or glow to it or something.

Just my two cents anyway, it's a very nice sig aside from the difficulty in reading the text.

The "spectre" is a ghost actually, I can see what you mean though. They're both purple. Lol.


Edit: Fixed it. Used an emboss effect to make it more noticeable.

I think you should change the text back (no emboss), and just get rid of its blur. It would look better if it were somewhat transparent (as it was).

And I must agree, a border would be good.

i use a 3 px border

first make a new layer
then go to select>all
then edit>stroke and set width to 3 px color:black
then edit>stroke again width: 2 px color: white
edit>stroke once more width: 1 px color black
then set the layer to overlay

this is wat i do and it usually turns out pretty good
