Are Vechicles Useless in this Mod?

I don't know how many times I hear, "Dude, vehicles are useless here!" Oh, but I think just the opposite on this subject. Well, it does work both ways.

If you are going for kill ratio, then don't get in a hog or shee, ghost too! You do die alot in these things. BUT, you will get more caps by using them. (more roadkills also)

The famous Griffin/Shee strategy has brought many a flag caps for me. Even if you get shot down, remember, the flag flys across the map sometimes....

You can view them as noob toys or tools. Why walk when you can ride!

i prefer to drive undercover my self.

then when i get to a hill i jump out and let the hog fly over.

then, while the enemy is distracted thinking somene is in the hog i run towards the base..

and i like the shee idea, ive done it before with a hog. i blew up, then i spawned and saw the flag fly past :S

I do ideed love the banshee. It's great for making a quick run from one base to another.

I find the best tactic is to fly low and try to use the terrain to your advantage. I use it mostly from the blue side though. It's safer to fly the blue on out than the red one as the red one is in an elevated position to start with. However, like Skel said, the flag will often go bounding across the gulch towards your base where you can pick it up after you spawn.

Yeah but this ends up getting killed whoever goes to get the flag, ITS HILLARIOUS they run to the flag like seagulls to a tip.

Yeah - I get killed a lot, but it's worth it if you can pull off a cap. I got one yesterday where I had been killed 3 times trying to get the flag. I kept picking it up and rushing towards Blue base and then getting killed. I finally capped on the fourth attempt. #clapping#

If you're thinking outside the box you can use the passenger seat as camo. If you're on blue this works best, just go out of your normal teleporter(the green one) and then get in the passenger side seat of the hog. Its probably only one or two kills you'll get, unless you're stealthy with your shots, but hey every shot counts!

I've seen a couple of people do something like that, only they'd get in the back of the enemy base and whip out they're pistol and just PWN the other team, all from the comfort of the Hog sideseat.

I'm fond of the hoggapult with me in the drivers seat.....

I have almost perfected the art of landing on my wheels and driving away...Skel, Vortx and Griff have seen me land a hoggapult and drive away....

There is nothing better than hoggapulting to the enemy's base and running over a few bad guy's before trying to cap their flag!

On Sunday night, I was able to fly a shee to the enemy base, nab the flag, and fly my shee all the way back to cap at my base. ;D

the shee tactic is good but i have trouble getting there, and actually having the right time when getting out so i fall directly into base

Another great vehicle tactic is to shoot a vehicle into your enemies. it quite often kills them or causes them to commit suicide. ;D

i say that in maps like infinity and bloodgulch u need vehicles!!! bloodgulch u need a hog to get inside the rock to telle to top and u need a shee to get on top of the dum tree trung to get to the top of ur base, its neat and cool but no matter what ull always need a vehicle in some sort of situation!

Shee's are just as important as the sniper rifle in these mods. I don't know how many times the words "Holy Crap" came out of my keyboard because a shee came out of nowhere. (right Griff!!)

Here's the kicker! I put those shees in the mod as noob toys. Some of the smarter players use them as tools for their advantage. Watch how some of the big guns use these vehicles and apply it to your own strategies.

LOL - I love using the shee to kill people and to cap flags. Great times can be had by all involved.

I love using the shees when my team has the flag in bg i will waste my time circling the opponents base while they think i have the flag but my flagger is driving away in the hog
