ok minor help on multiple instances

i need help with my multiple instances, and plz dont giv me any urls to site manuels, to me those tings dont make any sense, can someone teach me in an easy way, or at least help me through the manuels? thx

The best thig you can do is PM Aero and ask for help..

Aero is running at least 3 instances, and is the professional with regards to running multiple instances.

He will be the person for the job!

Well your not the only one having a problem... I can't get it to work either. My mapcycle, Tk ban, rcon, server name... none of that shows up and I have to do it manually... Even when I do that it still dosn't work

Ok aero ive looked at that post 100's of times and it still will not work. Ive had hellspawn help me as well and he cant get it to work either.

Dark Demon and Hellspawn, what are your internec connection stats....

ie: 1500 downoad/256 upload

Your connection speeds may be an issue. If you can't quote your connection speeds, you shouldn't be trying to host multiple servers!

i thought i was pretty clear in my post, there was no confusion. It is exactly what i did, and if you could not comprehend that, well i hate to break it to you, but you probably cant even make sense of this sentence:

But it says my server name must be between 1 and 15 characters and not all of my maps will come up in the server from my init file. I have the updated version of the decicated server... so why is this?

dark,all you have to do is pput the "(inverted comers) and it will be o.k.

so an example: "Snipers Dream Team Mod7.1 {Aero} 1"

and the maps that do not appear,there are 2 causes:

1: You did not add a game type
ex: sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch CTF

2: It is derilect, chiron, or battlecreek, these names are changed in the console to:

derilect- carousel
battlecreek- beavercreek
chirontl34- putput

Ok I got the map cycle to work… I did the “ in the server name ” I named it…
“Snipers Dread Suffocation Mod {Demon} 2”
but it still came up saying server name must be between 1 and 15 characters. I don’t get it. I’ve done everything that you’ve said. I had 2 servers up but one was just Snipers Dread and when Void tried to join he wasn’t able to. Said something about the client being newer.... but his is updated other wise he would be able to run a dedicated server. Yet others could get in, but I had the server named “Snipers Dread”

So why can’t I get it more than 15? And please do NOT lock this up, I haven’t gotten mine to work yet

Ok, Dark Demon, it seems that you are trying to use the older version of the dedicated server..

Uhh..Slng I have the newer version otherwise I wouldnt be hosting the one I have now... And I know how to run my dedicated server.
