Yo Server Hosts.
Seems you guys already got your server names down. This is mostly for anyone that wants to host these mods.
The idea of everyone having the same Snipers Dream Team Mods {yourname}, is mostly just grouping these servers in the Lobby. Player's go to the name, {yourname} they like playing. Also helps with where the players are. Someone might lag in my server, but not in another.
I have added Halostats launcher to my site and included a simple html file (needs updating) so players can just click and join my server. I will be doing this for you on these boards....BUT...<---important but here,...make sure your server names begin with "Snipers (with s) Dream".

people wont know its the dream team mod though, they will just think, what the hell is DTM
and maybe you want to give skelito some credit on your site where it says about the mod

I doubt they'd join unless they already knew about the mod (not always, or no one would ever join, of course). In which case, it's pretty obvious what DTM stands for. "Snipers DTM" will also be listed right after "Sniper Dream Team Mod" so I'm sure the users will be smart enough to figure out what it stands for - especially when it's located so close together. My website doesn't say anything about the mod, as it is not a Halo-only website, let alone a Halo-clan or Halo-multiplayer website. The only place where I would have room to put any credit would be under the download section where I would offer the download of this mod (something such as "Mod created by Skelito" or something of that sort). Currently, I don't have this mod for download, because I don't know Skelito's policy about redistribution.  |
